T90 Titans League returns bigger and better than ever! This recurring competition provides a consistent, high-level stage for established pros to sharpen their skills, while giving newcomers the chance to prove themselves and break into the top tier. Across the first four seasons, 24 players competed in both the Platinum and Gold Leagues, with Silver serving as a qualifier. For season 5, the format expands: Silver becomes a full league, and Bronze takes its place as the qualifier, opening the door for 24 more players to battle through a full group stage and climb the ladder. With a $100,000 prize pool spread across more than 100 competitors, T90 Titans League delivers one of the most open and rewarding pathways into the Age of Empires pro scene.

T90 Titans League Season 5 follows the rules of the Unified Tournament Handbook with the following changes:

  • All players must be in a dedicated Discord voice chat while playing their set, to allow admins to contact them if needed.
  • During the group stage, if players are more than 10 minutes late, they will not receive any prize money for games played in that set. However, there will not be an admin loss for game 1. Being more than 20 minutes late without prior communication still results in an admin loss for the full set (3-0).
  • In case of a new patch or DLC, players will be informed as soon as possible if the new content will be used, or if the tournament continues on an old patch.
  • Additional rule changes will be published here before the start of the event. All other rules default to the Unified Tournament Handbook.

All breaches (including those not detailed in this handbook) will be handled at the sole discretion of the Tournament admins, in accordance with the authority granted by the Unified Tournament Handbook.

2. TTL Season 5 Format

For the first time, the main season of TTL will feature 3 full leagues: Platinum, Gold and Silver. All leagues consist of 24 players split into 4 groups of 6. After a round robin of play-all-3 sets players can be promoted or relegated between different leagues, and the top players in the Platinum league will battle in the playoffs to become the champion of TTL season 5.

T90 Titans League 5 Format

At the end of the group stage, the players finishing in 5th or 6th in their groups are relegated to a lower league. The players that are relegated from Silver will be eligible to play in Bronze league in season 6 to regain their spot.

In the Platinum league, the top 3 per group advances to the knockout stage. In Gold and Silver league, the top player from each group is automatically promoted to the league above their current league. All 2nd place players will face a 3rd place from another group in a promotion playoff to fight for promotion.

2.1 Group Stage Tiebreakers

In the group stage players will be ranked based on the number of games (maps) they have won.

Ties during the group stage will be handled in the following manner:

Games won > Sets won > Head to head > Win percentage in games against tied opponents > Total score of defeated opponents > Number of game 1 wins > Original seed

2.2 Group Stage Draw

Before the group stage draw players are placed in different pots based on their performance in the previous season. For example in Platinum league, pot 1 is filled with all semi finalists from Platinum season 4, and pot 6 is filled with players that won the Gold promotion playoffs in season 4. All pots have 4 players each, which will be split over the 4 groups in their specific league.

The group stage draw was completed on november 16th. The results can be found here.

3. Match Settings
